SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING

I dont see why Nandi attempted to get out of her frequent family ski trips, during her time in France. Seriously, je ne comprends pas. Skiing is AWESOME. I completely, 100 percent, absolutely, L-O-V-E love it!!!

So, as you may have guessed, I went skiing today. For the first time ever. It was a school organised trip, and Maria (aka. my mexican friend) thought we'd go along, seeing as neither of us had skiied (?) before. It was all a bit daunting, arriving to find all the other kids in full ski gear (ugly coloured jumpsuit anyone?) while Maria and I stood there with our jeans and multiple sweaters... and Grandma's waterproof jacket, of course.

On arrival at the ski place (no idea where it was, sorry) we went to grab our skis and boots etc, which was all a bit confusing... who knew ski boots were so hard to put on (haha not me thats for sure! I had to get the little ski boot man to put them on for me)? Then we hit the slopes! Well, it wasnt really a slope for Maria and I... just a little patch of flat snow. We did some little practise exercises and both fell over, though you'll be glad to know that was the first and last ski fall I had.. and the first of many for Maria, haha. The fall itself was quite fun, but the getting up again was just hilarious. It literally took 10 minutes and 2 teachers to get us both back on our feet!!

We hit the actual slopes soon after. It was the beginners slope, of course, but the teacher set up some lovely obstacles for us to dodge and stuff, which was fun. Turns out Im pretty naturally awesome at skiing, so within 20 minutes or so I was skiing around alone. Its sooooooo fun. And I got pretty confident and hit the bigger slopes... and then the bigger slopes. Like they werent huge, but you got to go really fast and dodge people and the teacher was getting worried coz I was going so fast, but I explained that it was fun and I didnt fall over or hit anyone or anything and... oh I love it!! I hope I can ski again soon!!! Except the winters practically over. Will I have to wait until next winter??? NOOOOOOO!!

Seriously, it was just great.

Anyways, Id better go to sleep now... school tomorrow.. on a Saturday.. but its Art.. with creepy teacher.. great
