Sorry for my slackness....

HELLOOOOOOO!!!!! Sorry for being so incredibley slack, blog-wise, but I've been waiting for something interesting to write about. Here I go:

Okay, so for those that dont know, one of the major resons I wanted to come to France, was for the markets. Not the flea markets (though I would looooovvvvveeee to go to one), but the markets with fruit and veg and cheese and bread, and little old men in aprons and knitted caps :) I am obsessed with markets!!!! And on Monday, I finally got to go to one.

The Grande Marche in Vichy is like a baby Victoria Markets, minus the endless rows of trashy, $2 shop goods. Its all indoors, but is still awesome!! Its colourful and smells like cheese and fresh bread, and there are people bustling about, asking for testers, and makin sure the tomatoes they buy are perfect for tomorrows meal, not tonights. It was just so great being there, because I finally felt like I was in France... the French love for food just really showed there, for the first time since my arrival. It was brilliant!! If I ever get to live in actual Vichy (please Rotary, please) I will definately be making daily trips there for some scrumptious seasonal fruit and maybe some greek yoghurt or a croissant.... yum.

Check out the photos below.. there are some very interesting cheeses haha
